We decided to take a few days off and took a bus to Berlin to look for inspiration and to spend some time together. Having no actual plan in minds, we however ended up with a list of 15 accomplished tasks – museums, shops, galleries etc.
But we also had time to relax at Unter den Linden…
But jazz also played a significant role. Wednesday we spent a nice evening at Quasimodo – equivalent to Montmartre, Copenhagen in the old days or Village Vanguard in New York.
Niels Wülker (tr+fgh) with friends played while Norddeutscher Rundfunk (and I) recorded the session. Dietmar Fuhr was on double bass – playing with a terrific authority.
